SPECIAL ELECTION - May 16, 2022
With the resignation of the First Lieutenant officership by Rob McHugh, a Special Election was held where PJ Bruschi has been elected to serve as First Lieutenant for the remainder of the term.
We would like to acknowledge Rob McHugh for his dedication in training for the Company despite the short term he served. His in-house drills have been described as some of the best the Company has had in many years. Thank you Rob!

DWELLING FIRE - East Willock Road, Whitehall Borough - Oct. 16, 2021
The Whitehall Fire Company responded to a reported kitchen fire on the evening of Oct. 16th. Whitehall PD arrived first on scene reporting heavy smoke visible from the front of the house. The 301 Truck crew made a quick interior attack to extinguish the fire while 301 Engine 2 provided water supply from the closest hydrant on Earlford Drive. Crews from our mutual aid companies assisted with search and rescue, ventilation, and ground ladders. Upper St. Clair Fire Dept. served as the Rapid Intervention Team.
Crews on scene: 301 Truck, Engine 1, Engine 2, Rescue, Squad, 107, 116, 232, 284, MRTSA, and Whitehall PD.

South Park 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
On Sept. 11, 2021, four members of the Whitehall Fire Company completed a strenuous stair climb with full turnout gear and SCBA to honor the fallen 343 firefighters and other first responders. Proceeds from the event were donated to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. |

STRUCTURE FIRE - 1600 Skyline Drive, Whitehall Borough - June 18, 2021
WFC responded to a working kitchen fire in an apartment building. Assistant Chief Price dispatched a 2nd alarm for additional assistance from our neighboring companies. Our interior crew held the fire to the kitchen, with no extension to other units. |

MVA WITH HEAVY DAMAGE - August 29, 2020
At approximately 1:00 a.m. the Whitehall Fire Company was activated for three vehicle accident with ejection and entrapment. After arriving on scene crews worked to remove two victims from the sedan. Crews remained on scene for an extensive amount of time while the accident reconstruction team did their investigation. MVA WITH HEAVY DAMAGE - July 20, 2020
At approximately 8:00 a.m. the Whitehall Fire Company was activated for a single vehicle accident, vehicle into a pole. Crews arrived on scene to assist with traffic control until Duquesne Light could come out and remove the pole. This accident did cause a brief power outage in the area. MVA WITH HEAVY DAMAGE - June 18, 2020
At approximately 1:45 p.m. the Whitehall Fire Company was activated for a two vehicle accident with critically injured victims entrapment on Baptist Road at Windvale. 301 Rescue arrived on scene and began extrication of both drivers. This operation was completed in 8 minutes after arriving on scene, 13 minutes after initial dispatch. Once out of the vehicles, patients were transported to the hospital by MRTSA Station 780. This accident was the first call for the use of our new battery powered rescue tools. MUTUAL AID - Brentwood, Structure Fire - June 2, 2020
Just before noon, the Whitehall Fire Company responded to Brentwood for a possible structure fire on Bellanca Avenue. Crews on the the first arriving engine from Station 105 went interior on initial fire attack. 301 Engine 1 arrived on scene and secured a hydrant for water supply. Commercial Structure Fire - April 26, 2020
At approximately 9:55 p.m., the Whitehall Fire Company was called to a fire in an automotive shop on the 2700 block of Saw Mill Run Blvd. Upon arrival a second alarm was requested. 301 truck quickly arrived on scene and went interior for fire attack. 301 Engine 1 secured the hydrant for water supply for the truck. MUTUAL AID - Brentwood, 2 Alarm Structure Fire - April 12, 2020
At approximately 9:30 a.m., the Whitehall Fire Company was activated for a commercial structure fire on the 3300 block of Brownsville Road. Initial dispatch reported working fire with multiple people hanging out of windows. This was quickly updated to people jumping from windows. Crews from Whitehall Fire Company quickly arrived on scene and worked interior on fire suppression and primary search and rescue. At approximately 11:10 p.m., the Whitehall Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 4400 block of Brownsville Road. MUTUAL AID - Brentwood, Structure Fire - January 22, 2020
At approximately 09:48, the Whitehall Fire Company responded to Brentwood for a possible structure fire on Catskill Avenue. Police arrived on scene reporting heavy smoke with flames seen. Brentwood 116 Engine 1 took the hydrant. One crew from Whitehall advanced a hose line to the fire floor while another mutual aid crew took a hose line to the second floor. HOUSE FIRE - Aug. 17, 2019
At 10:21 a.m., the Whitehall Fire Company responded to a house fire on Country Club Drive in Whitehall. Chief Harris established incident command and immediately dispatched a 2nd alarm. After laying 5" supply line from the hydrant, Engine 1's crew advanced a hoseline to prevent the fire from spreading to an adjacent house and a second line as an interior fire suppression. Firefighters worked on fire suppression, ventilation, and salvage and overhaul on a day with the temperatures in the low 90s.
